Daily Itinerary

Most days on safari include an early game drive, midday rest, and evening safari activity.

You'll be met at Kilimanjaro Airport and transferred by private road (approximately 90 minutes) to Legendary Lodge in Arusha.

Spend the remainder of the day unwinding and recovering from your international journey.

After breakfast, enjoy a short 15-minute transfer to Arusha Airport for your scheduled bush flight to Seronera Airstrip (approximately 35 minutes).

A scenic 90-minute game drive transfer brings you to Namiri Plains Camp in the remote Eastern Serengeti.

Today focuses on the remote landscapes and wildlife of the Eastern Serengeti. Optional guided walking safaris offer a different perspective on the bush beyond the vehicle.

In the evening, enjoy a special experience connected to local cheetah research efforts.

A full day of game drives in one of the Serengeti's richest predator territories.

The Eastern Serengeti is home to some of the highest densities of cheetah, leopard, and lion on the continent.

Optional sunrise hot air balloon safari offers a peaceful aerial perspective over the Serengeti plains, ending with a champagne bush breakfast after landing.

The remainder of the day is spent on game drives in search of predators and resident wildlife.

After breakfast, enjoy a 90-minute game drive transfer to Seronera Airstrip. Your scheduled bush flight (approximately 2.5 hours) takes you to Msembe Airstrip in Ruaha.

A 50-minute transfer brings you to Jabali Ridge, your home for the next four nights.

A guided walking safari through Ruaha's dramatic landscapes, offering an intimate encounter with the bush.

The park's rugged terrain, baobab-studded hills, and river valleys provide a striking contrast to the Serengeti.

A morning visit to a local Hehe community provides insight into one of Tanzania's most historically significant ethnic groups.

The remainder of the day is free for game drives or relaxation at the lodge.

If water levels allow, try your hand at fishing along the Great Ruaha River.

Continue with a game drive through the park's prime wildlife corridors, and end the day with a restorative ritual massage at Jabali Ridge.

After breakfast, transfer to Msembe Airstrip (approximately 50 minutes).

Your bush flight (approximately 2 hours 40 minutes) takes you directly to Dar es Salaam Julius Nyerere International Airport for onward departures.

All internal flights are operated by small bush planes connecting conservancies and parks.

Ground transportation is provided in comfortable 4×4 safari vehicles for optimal game viewing. All airport transfers are included.

Neutral-colored clothing is recommended for safari activities

Yes, this itinerary works well for families.

Children under 5 are not permitted on this trip.
