Daily Itinerary

Most days on safari include an early game drive, midday rest, and evening safari activity.

You'll be met at Kilimanjaro Airport by your private safari team before a relaxed 90-minute road transfer to Legendary Lodge in Arusha.

Spend the remainder of the day unwinding in the gardens or recovering from your international journey ahead of your safari adventure.

After breakfast, enjoy a short 15-minute transfer to Arusha Airport for your scheduled bush flight to Kogatende Airstrip (approximately 45 minutes). A scenic 20-minute game drive transfer brings you to Sayari Camp in the Northern Serengeti.

After lunch and time to settle in, head out on your first afternoon game drive. Optional spa treatments or massages may also be arranged at camp.

Spend the day exploring the Northern Serengeti with a focus on seasonal migration viewing, resident wildlife, and the Mara River region. From roughly July through September, river crossing activity is possible, though sightings can never be guaranteed due to the unpredictable movement of the herds.

Outside migration season, game viewing remains excellent with strong year-round predator activity.

An optional sunrise hot air balloon flight offers a peaceful aerial perspective over the Serengeti plains, with the rest of the day open for game drives at your own pace. In the evening, a special gathering with the Kuria Tribe takes place at camp around the campfire, with traditional music and dancing under the stars.

From June through October, it is also possible to arrange a visit to the Maasai village of Piyaya from Namiri Plains, an immersive cultural experience that takes up to 7 hours.

Following a final morning in the north, transfer approximately 20 minutes to Kogatende Airstrip for your scheduled bush flight to Seronera (approximately 30 minutes). Upon arrival, continue with a scenic 90-minute game drive transfer to Namiri Plains Camp in the remote Eastern Serengeti.

An afternoon game drive introduces you to one of East Africa's best regions for cheetah and big-cat viewing.

Today focuses on the remote landscapes and wildlife of the Eastern Serengeti. Optional guided walking safaris may be available for guests aged 12 and older, offering a different perspective on the bush beyond the vehicle.

In the evening, enjoy a special experience connected to local cheetah research efforts, with insight into conservation work taking place in the region.

The day is dedicated to game drives in the remote Eastern Serengeti, one of the finest big-cat regions in East Africa. Morning and late-afternoon drives follow the open plains and rocky kopjes where cheetah, lion, and leopard are regularly found, with your guide tracking fresh signs and movement through the day.

Time back at camp between drives allows you to rest before heading out again in the cooler light.

After breakfast, depart Namiri Plains and enjoy a final 90-minute game drive transfer to the airstrip.

Your scheduled bush flight returns to Kilimanjaro Airport (approximately 1 hour 45 minutes) in time for onward international departures.

Each day can be customized based on how you feel and what you would like to see with the help of your guides and staff.

All internal flights are operated by small bush planes connecting the Serengeti's remote airstrips.

Ground transportation is provided in comfortable 4x4 safari vehicles for optimal game viewing. All airport transfers are included.

Pack in layers for temperature changes
Neutral-colored clothing is recommended for safari activities

Yes, this itinerary works well for families.

However:

Children under 5 are not permitted on this trip.
